I'am preparing a benchmarking on diffrent ways to create live cd from linux . I now three way : from mandrake(mklivcd), remstering of knoppix, LFS.
there 's other way.
also what the particular and advantages of one method then other

I'm not sure of the advantages, I have not followed all the guides. I'm sure some are easier than others, SLAX looks like one of the easiest, as it has several programs to automate the ISO creation (including a Windows program).

Let us know how about your benchmark when you're finished! This is something I'm very interested in as well.
