Netbackup boot CD
Posted: Wed Sep 26, 2007 1:36 pmI have been trying to deploy netbackup on IBM blade servers. The OS is RHEL3 AS8. The boot cd is created by netbackup itself using linux cd's. The issue is when I try to boot up with the cd, the KVM switch of the Blae center hangs and does not respond. I have been searching around for some kind of resolution and came up with one possible answer. I need to add 'usb-handoff' as a boot parameter.
Is it possible to modify the boot loader of a boot cd and pass additional boot parameters? A quick response would be much appreciated.
