Be sure to try out AROS - "Amiga Research OS" its an open sourced bsd based os with an amiga twist! Read more at http://www.aros.org and download the 60meg ish .iso its not that useful but its good fun! It comes complete with UAE to play classic games and it has has an optional HD installer.

There is also Amiga Forever CD.
It is based on Knoppix :wink:

IIRC this product combine UAE (Universal Amiga Emulator) with Linux.

There was a faster Amiga emulator on top of Linux: Amithlon (unfortunately no longer available).
