Pardus is a preview of an independed distrubition (Uludag) with its own configuration tools like:
ÇOMAR (COnfiguration MAnageR)
PISI (Packages Installed Succesfully as Intented)
YALI (Yet Another Linux Installer)

The installable version of Uludag will be released in that summer.

The name of Pardus chosen in the name of an Anatolian leopard (Panthera Pardus Tulliana) and seen by people in 2004 on Black Sea Region of Turkey as the last time.
