Apparently phpBB can only hold a max of 255 poll options, so I'm going to have to create a second poll since I just surpassed that number.

The first part of this list is here: viewtopic.php?t=305

I think ADIOS is the best all round.

It's very hard to select just one from the many :!:
Choose NimbleX though because it has a little bit of everything for a LiveCD and it promises a lot in the future.

Elive gets my vote!

Postby awong » Sun May 13, 2007 7:42 pm

I voted for Elive because of its speed on my older system and it is the only distro that works with all of my peripherals and drives (auto mounting, read/write permissions) without any tweaking. The Enlightenment desktop has an attractive, fresh look IMO.

Slax Killbill

Postby Teobromina » Sun Nov 18, 2007 5:28 am

This distro, Slax Killbill, is great because it starts from a CD, but you can load all the filesystem from a USB pendrive, making a very fast overall starting process, and making possible to change the modules you need simply by changing the corresponding files in the USB pendrive (nothing to reinstall or rebuild).

I like it.

The following distro appears 2 times in the poll of this thread...

T2 @Live

Symphony OS
T2 @Live
ELE
SNAPPIX
BOSS Live CD
AliXe
PaiPix
loonix-live
T2 @Live

Maybe there was a second but slightly different version?

HTH.
