Hello pals,
I m a newbie , but experiencing linux for quite a few months .
I have one doubt . Does creating a Linux for ourself from scratch (by the ways of LinuxFromScratch) means we have created one more Distribution like FC,Deb,slack etc.,. . Is it possible to host that for public download under our name .
I ve alreadycreated a live cd following variuos tuts , that success prompts me to plan for a local language distro in this summer . so please clarify me .

If you create your own screen arts, menu, additional programs, additional manual, help files, tutorial etc (in your local languange), IMO you can call it a new distro:

1. Mention "this distro is based on ...."

2. Include GPL copyright statement etc, mention the authors of programs in your distros.

3. Include the source code of your Distro in the CD, FTP site, or book.
