Linux Live CD thats boots from a DVD+RW/+R (DLA)???

Postby mozkill » Fri Dec 17, 2004 3:44 pm

Does anyone know if there are any plans for a Linux Live CD thats boots from a DVD+RW/+R (DLA)???

if I had a 5 GIG DVD-RW with a 500MB Linux image on it then I would have 4.5GB free of RE-WRITEABLE space to add new programs wouldn't I ?? Wouldn't this be the ultimate bootable distrobution?

Maybe this is not possible? Or maybe it is?

Hi
Perhaps you can search for various LiveDVD distro:
Knoppix DVD (4 GB), Quantian or other.

Or you can contact Mr Ionut Sandu (Romania), the creator of MultiDistro LiveCD. Perhaps in the future, he can create a MultiDistro LiveDVD.
