ECGL is RHEL3's clone, ECGL-1.0 release in 2004/9/24, ECGL is LiveCD that can be install to hard disk for different purpose. ECGL-UML is ECGL sub-project that is virtual machine (sandbox) like vmware in ECGL for defending kernel panic and simulate phone. ECGL support Chinese, ECGL is R&D engineer develope platform for new phone OS in Motorola (China).

ECGL follow GPL.

ECGL web site has lots of Chinese and part of bilingual document, but ECGL use fluxbox and XFCE with English UI.

ECGL use YUM for update, ECGL use own update source, this document can help RHEL3 Clone user use YUM update from ECGL update source:
