Suggestion: Mirrors, Base Distro

Several distro have backup/mirrors website.
Is it possible to add a link to one/several mirrors, in case the main website is down/ no longer available?
What about additional information about "the basic distro" of the LiveCD:
Mandrake Move is based on Mandrake.
Knoppix is based on Debian
SUSE Live Eval is based on SUSE etc.
